WHAT IS WINTER EMPOWERMENT WEEKEND?

At the Winter Empowerment Weekend (WEW), students from public campuses across Ontario gather for a four-day weekend of student leadership empowerment for public campus ministries, creating life-long friendships that can truly be life-changing. The weekend features empowering resource kits, inspired preaching, practical workshops, scripture-based illustrations, walk-in prayer stations, powerful testimonies, uplifting praise & worship, dynamic social engagement, sportive campsite activities, and, of course, the beautiful open-nature. By the end of the weekend, students not only step closer to Christ, but also leave with a renewed commitment to serving God with everything they have on their public campuses. Our mission of empowering students to reach the campus and change the world is realized through this weekend event (amongst other province-wide initiatives).
